It is much easier to approach the AO at night, early in the game the moon is still low so attackers NVG's give them an advantage. And the FO's are supposed to stay, think of it like the AA points on crossing.

SRP and FO deployment radii are way too small. Makes it too hard for the blufor to advance.

New version r2:

  • Added muzzle brakes
  • Tweaked vehicles
  • Added BluFor FB at Mountain Pass (depend on either gas station or fields)
  • Increased starting tickets and tickets/zone
  • increased SRP and FO deployment radii
  • Removed BluFor HAT, increased LAT kits
  • New loading picture (taken at night :))
  • New Flags, flags now show on map and scoreboard correctly

With the chosen date it's very, very dark. I'd strongly recommend this date: 2010 08(m) 07(d) for the fool moon high above. In fact it would be good if it would be a default date for all missions.

Thanks, will try that date later. I was actually trying to find a full moon when making the mission for that exact reason. I will keep start time as current (moon below horizon for first 15mins or so) which gives blufor nvg advantage fir first point.

Not nearly enough transport vehicles on opfor side. Neither in main nor at FB1. Once the tickets run out vehicles run out very quickly as well.

I think thats mostly down to the mission being designed for fewer players. In the next version I will add more vehicles at higher player counts.

It is our general philosophy that all missions should be playable with up to a hundred people. That's why there are always 100 player slots, and the player requirement code for vehicles.
