Pinpointed the problem, as soon as the defend marker appears on a cache the deployment zone disappears. Can really screw over OpFor on the first cache if they don't get a hideout deployed quickly.

Played this mission Saturday early hours (GMT) as Opfor and had a fantastic time! Set up defences around Feruz only, due to lowish numbers and it was awesome! Great Mission!

Just played this last night and OpFor got absolutely wrecked. Apparently the admin/TacBF Team member thought it was balanced at 23 vs 14. The top four players on BluFor had more kills than the entire OpFor team.

Nothing worse than the teams being so unbalanced especially when you are already at a disadvantage in regards to weaponry.

Team balance can be really frustrating, people just love BluFor. But I think the weapons are pretty balanced, Blufor have better optics and Heli's/APC/Arty. But Opfor have a counter to these, at Feruz abad there are .50's and SPG's and the AKM can zero up to 440m (compared to the 100m/200m of M4's/M16). OpFor also have an anti-air role available when they get enough players.

Its also a language thing. All the russkies go Opfor. Which means as an English speaker you run the risk of being stuck on a team where you are the only one speaking English. It gets even worse later in the night when the Russians have to leave earlier because of the time difference.

It's quite funny how Yanks usually insist on going American and Russians the same for their nation... Almost like they are both overly patriotic or something :lol:

But its also amusing. Like actual nations are fighting, that are separated by language barrier etc. I really like it. :)

I personally enjoy playing both BLUFOR and OPFOR, but you are right about the language barrier. First game I played I couldn't get into an English speaking squad.

Mission has to be checked for errors regarding Hideout Deployment. Option is greyed out even when all other requirements are met.

In another occassion at deploying Hideout an error message pops in saying "There is a logical problem #1: no message" or something like that.

These problems get OpFor a huge disadvantage because they always have to spawn at mainbase and are not able to spawn or even deploy Hideouts.
